Always be grateful and not a great fool!
My my, where has September gone? With only a few more days left of the month I am already looking forward to October. September was a foodie month, full of catch-ups and adventures. I had such a sensational September and I am looking forward to having a quiet few weeks in October in readiness for all the wonderful Xmas parties and champagne. Before I start wishing time away, here is what I have got up to this month.
September started off with a trip to Madrid. Aftab and I checked into The Principal Madrid a Small Luxury Hotel. We had the best stay and I it is a hotel that I would highly recommend it as it has such a great location, great service and a knowledgeable and rather dashing concierge.
Aftab and I truly lived in Madrid! One of the things I love most about travelling is the adventure. I know sometimes I portray that it’s all about the hotel but the adventure is what makes you grow and flourish. Travelling is the best school in life, if you step out of your hotel. One of my favourite parts of our Madrid trip was rowing my heart away in Parque Del Retiro.
As well as adventure we also managed to enjoy the nightlife of Madrid, and if you saw my Instagram stories you would know that we had lot of fun, also known as a hangover, a roaring great hangover. Nobody can say I didn’t live my best life.
September was a foodie month for me and I caught up with my mum at Pan Chai Harrods to indulge in some amazing sushi. I would really recommend the Harrods special if you go.
Another foodie moment was my journey to Peru via Lima Floral with Sima. I really enjoyed every morsel of food in Lima and I would say if you are looking for great Peruvian food in London then Lima is a good spot.
I also caught up with Honey mid month, and we had lots of champagne and sushi at Aqua Kyoto’s bottomless brunch! Honey is always such great company and we both enjoyed having a giggle over lots of champagne.
I ended September with a trip to Bruges with Mummy RW. I stayed at The Pand Hotel another Small Luxury Hotel (review to follow). Bruges was an absolute chocolate box of delight. If you haven’t been I would highly recommend you book your Eurostar asap and make the most of your weekend.
What did your September look like? Zoe x
Ps I am off to Lausanne in 6 weeks and would love any recommendations.
