‘Always be grateful and not a great fool’! May has been a super busy month for me filled with many highlights, new places, new faces and some oldie’s but goodies. My top 5 highlights include
#1 BRUNCHING AT TIMMY GREEN WITH AFTAB
“Brunching is my favourite activity and catching up with Aftab is always a good idea. Where to brunch in London is always the question of the day. Finally trying brunch at Timmy Green was not disappointing and I cannot wait to share the full review with you.
#2 COCKTAILS AT THE BOOKING OFFICE WITH HONEY
I finally had cocktails at the Booking Office when Honey and I went for Friday night drinks. The huge arches and gothic feel was not what I was expecting, but I would certainly be back as the Booking Office serves divine cocktails, has good service and a great location.
#3 COCKTAILS AT SMITH AND WHISTLE
WITH BINNY AND AFTAB
Old friends (Aftab), old favourites (Smith and Whistle) and new friends (Binny). Drinks with A at Smith and Whistle’s was a highlight but what made it special was finally meeting Binny. It’s so nice when you get to meet your friend’s friends. Friendships are often segmented as mixing groups and certain friends together can end up like oil and water. However I am glad to say Binny and I got on like a house on fire, so much so we are planning a brunch date.
#4 THE 3 AM PIZZA AT FRANCO MANCA
I am a simple girl at heart and I love nothing more than catching up with my friends over a bottle of wine and a pizza. (Not every day has to be fancy fancy). When one of my bff’s and I went to our local Franco’s the night turned into a whirlwind and my feet didn’t find my bed until 3 AM. Totally unexpected, but totally needed! I love it when I end up ‘out out’ spontaneously.
#5 THAT DRESS
I love my clothes. I am not a fashionista just a clothes lover! I firmly believe in buying classic well cut clothes that last forever. This dress is 11 years old and it comes out when the sun comes out to play. I am so looking forward to fun and frolics and plenty of sunshine in London this summer.
What are you grateful for in May?
